Exploring - stretching your mental borders

A little flash back to our last night in Botswana. with tent pitched at Nata Bird Sanctuary on the Sowa salt pans - in the Makgadikgadi. We head out to explore and discover this unusual landscape.

With this incredible, unique scene ahead of us, we are excited and wanted to see more. The white salt soils, 360degree horizons and blue skies that feel like they go on forever. The Salt pans are huge, vast!

Awe-inspired, we are urged forward.

We find...in a space of seemingly so little... so much!! For me it's the silence out there, the feel of the crunching, encrusted salt under my feet, the sense of space, the sun setting on one side of the horizon while the opposite side is showing Venus's girdle, with its pink and blue hues.

It speaks to me and impacts my soul.

My heart leaps with joy at this beauty - Gods creativity, imagination. The diversity of Africa, of all that we've seen - from the bushveld to the mountains to these landscapes. The magnitude of the size.... all just Wonderous!!

I just want to carry on exploring for ever - there is so much to see and so much to learn and grow and be challenged with, questions asked about the way we do life here in the city or suburbian..... Lots to think about!

  • Where are you finding adventure and time to explore new things in your life...?

  • How can you include it in a way that you want to?

  • What would that look like for you?

  • What would it change if you did do something new, different and adventurous?

  • How would you feel?

Stretch your imagination, expand your mind and be inspired to step out into an adventure that would bring you excitement, growth and a renewed energy.

You can do it! Let nothing stop you!
